Funding of research will move from large funding organizations to crowdfunding/sourcing. Also which research should be funded might be decided through crowdsourcing of ideas.

In a rapid changing society we will not be able to stick to one profession. We will go from one disciplin to a multi-disciplinary development – not necessarily using our formal education.
